Willisau - Huttwil - Burgdorf - Urtenen-Schoenbuehl - Burgdorf - Huttwil (77km)

As I had limited time to hike toward Bern, I took the train from Zug to Willisau and started from there - following the national hiking route no 4 (Via Jacobi) - one ascends quickly and walks on the ridge forward and descends into Huttwil. From there I ascended again and in the next forest I found a nice spot still getting some of the sunshine of the setting sun. All day long was cold north-east wind known as "Bise", and mostly overcast, yet in the evening some sunshine as mentioned.

Leaving late and keep walking on the ridge, slightly hilly toward Lueg ("See"), a small peak overseeing toward 360° view, toward south the bernese alps and north the Jura ridge. Eventually reaching Burgdorf, pictoresque city, alike charming like Huttwil. I hiked a bit further apprx. 30-40min further and found a nice spot in the forest again. Mostly overcast and windy again, cold wind apprx. 10-12°C.

As I was visiting new friends in Urtenen-Schoenbuehl just ~2 hours to reach the village finally around 12:00.

Late Sunday afternoon ~16:00 I departed from Schoenbuehl and reached nearly the same spot as of Friday/Saturday for tonight again ~18:00; less windy and sunshine and therefore a bit warmer as the previous days.

Early morning was cold, near 2-3°C and nearby meadows had icy grass (below 0°C), but less wind to walking warmed up the body quickly. Beautiful sunny day (10-13°C) and reaching Burgdorf, shopping food for today, and continue nearly the same path as previous days, but then choose another route through Duerrenroth and eventually reach Huttwil around 16:00 where this small hike ended.
