Slept very well, recovered some hours I missed of the past days. The weather forecast shows Saturday rain in the late afternoon and all through Sunday, so I look for a nice spot for a rest-/rainday, but also my bread and olives (a nice combination for salty intake) running out, so I decide to hike to Innerferrara and take the bus - something I dislike to do, disrupt the hike with other transportation, and shop in Andeer, and take the bus to Sufers, as I remember a nice spot between Sufers and Spluegen. I arrive at the expected spot early, and take the time to wash some cloths and myself at some water source, yet, the water isn't drinkable directly, but I have enough drinking water with me for today and tomorrow.

During the last evening the rain approached, and it rained partially during the night, and throughout Sunday - I stayed in the tend, and peeked a bit outside, raining on and off like every 10-20 mins, yet nice mild temperature of ~15°C during the day.

Good sleep, and feeling good after the rest-/rainday - still low hanging clouds in the valley, and up in the mountains nearby - not yet sure how far I will hike today, depending on the weather, and my endurance, and access to drinking water. I reach Spluegen, and ascend very very steep first from 1450m to 1800m, and then a bit flatter to 2100m, a curved valley, with the Safierbach nearby - most of the side currents carry no water, so, drinking water might be scarce higher up as well. My pace gets slower and slower, ascending from 2100m to 2500m takes me an hour, and no brook or creek in sight, and . . . surprise, almost at the top of Safierberg, there is a small creek still carrying water (which lower disappears) and I'm able to get sufficient water to stay at the top of this pass (even though it's called Safierberg and not Safierpass which would be more appropriate).

The scenery is stunning, I feel like in a coloseum of the round ridge which blocks the otherwise strong wind at the pass itself, and it's flat as well - the peaks of the "Lammela" at pointy, otherworldly (again) . . . somehow it has a deep impact to me, the fact I've got drinking water and a nice place to stay feels like a gift, an invitation - I feel very very grateful to rest at this place. I pitch my tent at a nice meadow-like surface, it's not really grass but some hard low growing "hard" flowers - an immense beauty at this place.
