Valley Route:

  1. stay on 33, Reef Station, Avenal, Coalinga, Parkfield Junction (Pass?), Priest Valley, Lonoak
  2. stay on 46, Cholame, Parkfield, Lonoak; water and food supply rare



  • Valley Route: Lonoak as mentioned already
  • Coast Route: Plaskett, Lucia



  • Valley Route: Bitterwater, San Benito, Pinacles (Pinnacles National Monument, camping?), Paicines, Tres Pinos, Hollister, Hudnet, Miller
  • Coast Route: Posts, Big Sur, Monterey, Marina, Watsonville



  • Valley Route: Gilroy, parallel to route 101, Morgan Hill, Coyote, San Jose, either stay on 101, or go parallel if suitable, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Belmont
  • Coast Route: Aptos, Santa Cruz, Davenport



  • Valley Route: San Mateo, after Millbrae go San Francisco International Airport,
  • Coast Route: Martins Beach, Half Moon Bay, Montara, Pacifica, after 2km go right and cross I280, going south to airport

or ride further to San Francisco and Golden Bridge before returning to airport
