2/3 Days Hike: Napf

The Napf (1406m) is a region and small mountain in the midst of Switzerland, and on the eastern and southern part is also known as "Emmental". It's a sparsely populated region, still pre-alpine - and has an old mystic tradition within swiss culture. On the map you see a circle formed around the Napf in the center, with dozens small valleys leading to the Napf.

Arriving 17:45 at Trubschachen train station and ascend a bit for an hour to find a nice spot, northern slope.

Chilly night, perhaps 7C in early morning, but then blue sky and ~20C in the direct sun, perhaps 12C in the shadow - the air slowly warming up during the day. It's the "high route" aka "Hoehenweg" with wide view most of the way, around 15:00 I reach Staechelegg, which is near Napf itself, and I descend a bit further to find a nice spot for tonight, at 16:00 pitching the tent for tonight, on a small path.

Good long sleep, less chilly than last night - getting up 8:00 and descend further - and decide to end the hike at Menzberg, a very small village on top of a hill, 10:00.
