2 Days Hike: Walensee & Hochmoor

Taking the train to Walenstadt, ~12:15.

Walenstadt - Weesen 6h 45m (along Churfirsten / Quinten)
Walenstadt - Weesen 5h (other side of the lake via Murg / Muehlehorn)
Walenstadt - Bad Ragaz 5h 45m

Through Walenstadt village and then ascending on gravel road as the first part isn't close to the Walensee / "Lake of Walen" so ascending from 425m to 830m or 400Hm, and a short passage flat and then descending and close to the lake toward Quinten. The small "village" or rather collection of a few houses of Quinten looks like a village in Ticino with palms and nice view to the alps. I continue and have to ascend to 750m, this time with more hiking trail than gravel road up, and reach "Schnuer", a small "flat" place with a few benches - my place for tonight.

Long good sleep, and 8:00 I already get sunlight on the tent, and surrounding warms up quickly - leaving place ~9:15 rather flat toward Weesen (~11:15).

As it's early day, I decide to take the train to Biberbrugg (~1hr) and hike a bit of the Hochmoor of Rothenturm, just ~2hr - a route I haven't been hiking before, along the Biber river/brook aside of the moor/wetland.
