3 Days Hike: Glaubenbielen - Soerenberg - Wolhusen

Again visiting Emmental, this time I start at Glaubenbielen Pass (1566m), a small patch of snow around; ~5°C in the sunlight, cold north wind (Bise).

I descend mildly toward Soerenberg, and having sight to Brienzer Rothorn ridge and soon also the Schratteflue (which I hiked during a day trip, not documented), and soon reach Soerenberg village:

And continue along the Waldemme river, and soon reach Fluehli, and continue further along the canyon with steep slopes, and only at Chlusbode I find a suitable spot for tonight - this day was longer than anticipated, apprx. 6 hr hiking leg.

Long good sleep, and pack ~9:00 and departure ~9:30 in the shade of the forest, and reach soon Schuepfheim, brief rest for breakfast. The Emme river bed and canyon is quite diverse, flat passages and steep slopes - at Emmenmaetteli, a small flat patch with a young forest, I find my spot for tonight - early into the tent ~14:30.

Humid cold/fresh morning, and decide to await the sun on the tent, 8:30 the sun reaches the tent, ~9:30 depart from the place and continue close to the Emme river, still impressed how diverse the river and river bed is - soon coming close to Wolhusen and reach train station ~11:30 where this hike ends.

The past 3 days strong stormy north wind aka Bise, limiting the temperature max 18°C at peak, and 5-8°C at night.

So, the last 3 hikes I was exploring the "Emmental", west of Napf (mountain) and east of it - various rivers in this region are named "Emme", so it's not direct clear which one is meant unless you add a village as well.
