Roggen - Hauenstein - Staffelegg

The past week Switzerland got some rain and temperature dropped by 10-15°C, so Sunday the clouds are just hanging all over the region and slowly disappearing.

Took the train to Oensingen (464m), and then small bus to Roggen (833m), where the hike starts.

Roggen ridge is nice, dry pine forest and then slightly descending toward Bärenwil, Belchenflue, Ifleterberg, and Hauenstein - this hike is part of the Jura Höhenweg, which I hiked in 2020 I hoped to find a good place nearby, but the Liechtberg looked like a butchered forest, loveless chopped branches laying around, someone with little sense of beauty takes care of this forest - very surprising. So I continue toward Froburg, nearby is a small hill, a narrow path leads to a small place where I pitch the tent, a better place - silent, the evening sun shining through the trees.

Good long sleep, 8:00 I start to pack, 8:30 leaving toward Burgflue, Geissflue and reaching Salh&oum;he, further toward Benkerjoch, where I previously remember I pitched my tent, but today I continue to Staffelegg where this brief hike ends.
